Manly Coast, New South Wales
Cliff tops, iconic beaches and hidden inlets make up this fantastic coastal trek from Manly to Spit Bridge Walk. Set aside about 3 – 4 hours for this 10km hike. It’s sign posted along the way with ample opportunity to dip in and out of the trek if needed. You’ll pass through Fisher Bay, Sandy Bay, Clontarf Bay and the Sydney Harbour National Park, heading towards the seaside vibes of Manly. Stunning.
Freycinet National Park, Tasmania
Rugged granite peaks meet white sands and piercing blue bays, at Freycinet National Park just outside of Hobart. Hiking boots and a good map are essential when exploring this region.
There’s a handful of short walks (clocking 2 hours return) with gradual inclines and scenic lookouts; but for a thorough workout choose the Mt Amos trek to explore the Hazards Mountain Range. It’s a strenuous summit track over bare rock but the view is outstanding and well worth the sweat!

Cape Shanck, Victoria
Part of the Mornington Peninsula National park, Cape Shanck is located 90 kilometers south of Melbourne. There are some breathtaking areas to explore making it a great daytrip with a happy beach ending.
Head towards Pebble Beach for stunning coastline views at a relaxed downhill pace. After you’ve soaked up the untouched views, be prepared for a long uphill walk out (one of the top activities for burning fat and shaping muscles).
Kitty’s Gorge, Western Australia
Just an hour’s drive from Perth, Kitty’s Gorge in Jarrahdale proves you don’t have to travel far to feel like you’ve escaped the hustle of everyday living.
The walking trail is a 14km loop of lush wildflower vistas and native bird life. Dogs are welcome on this dirt track, and best of all you can reward your efforts with a refreshing dip at Sepentine Falls.
Kin Kin Countryside, Queensland
North of the Sunshine Coast towards Gympie is the Kin Kin Countryside Loop. This 14km circuit takes approximately 4 hours to complete and requires a moderate level of fitness. You’ll pass through mango groves and rolling hills perfect for a picnic stopover.
